Got my old job back. 
Went down to the camp in the pouring arse rain. Ended up sitting under the bridge and catching gafftops, along with a buzz.

We were able to land a 12ft 4in gator this weekend. Sorry no pic...All on my phone.

Camped Friday night in 6" of rain. Packed up Saturday afternoon in the rain and called it a weekend early enough to get home and watch the game. Dried everything out yesterday while drinking beer.

My friends always made fun of me when I said gafftop can be tasty.

Nothing wrong with gafftop, as long as you get the bloodline out.
Fun to catch too, I've got a spot where I can go at anytime and catch as many as I want.

Opening of dove season down at the ranch, was a little wet Thurs and Fri but the weather broke Saturday and the animals really started moving. Pretty successful weekend I would say.

Fished a club tournament on Caddo yesterday and tore the fish up. Caught 25-30, mostly high end slot fish. Thought I had a chance to win, until a guy weighed 23 lbs., with four fish!

Coco, Polar Pop, and I had a decent teal hunt Sunday morning on a public spot.
We all swore to secrecy with a "certain death" clause for letting the cat out of the bag so that's all I can say about that.

They really are fun. A 4-5lb gafftop on a shimano 2500 is one hell of a fun time
