Few trout in GI, not much. Some nice ones on the rocks in the pass early.

How do you prepare the smaller fish, like the crappie?

Biting fish sure helps the heat not suck so bad.

shite I forgot to email him last week.

Hopefully he posts the video, his are always a good watch.

My report: FIL and I launched out of shell beach. Neither of us had ever fished there. Prolly caught 50+ specks. Only about a dozen measured but it was still fun to get into schools like that.

I should have some good footage. I have to edit and should be up in a couple days. You had that ranger running Saturday. I was running 40 GPS and I'm sure you beat me to the launch by a couple mins.

DOC, I kept checking my email but notta.. Maybe another time.

That was my bad.

Family decided to go watch the fireworks in Natchez so I ended up fishing Concordia and never making it down to Pigeon.

One day though.

Fished Venice from Thursday to today. Did very well on snapper, trout, redfish and bass while there. It was a very successful trip.

20 or so mangroves and a nice cobia. A tad choppy for a bay boat.

Eta: ate like kings all weekend. Gotta love camp meals

LOL, I really only beat you there by a minute or two. I run about 45 at WOT with just me and gear in it.

Shot two flounder from the kayak last night. Didn't see one damn redfish though.

Same places - I knew something was different about a few of them but didn't realize they were blacks.
I just knew they'd taste good.
