Back of San Miguel, early on a chatterbait. Then, after that bite died we ran over to Martinez and caught them on a shaky head. All our fish were in 5 foot or less.

No idea. I'm guessing a piece of steel or cement. Just made a small pop sound. We didn't feel it at all until the motor had a small shake not long after it happened. I was able to run it in back to the launch thankfully.

Box shot from Causeway 4 miles out from Northshore on Thursday at around 8:30 AM when the tide quit.

Headed to the Trestles and put 30 more in the box. Was a bad arse day on Lake P.

Failed to get pics, but fought the wind and what seemed like half of the fishing world and managed to catch reds and bass in Delacroix with my 7 year old on Friday, the wind was howling and there boats everywhere, still a good time. Grass is getting thicker by the day it seems.

Party barge day on Sunday after church, snagged a few bream under the tupelo gums with the whole family, but had to run from a few storms and cut the day short.

Weekend Results

Installed struts and shocks on my truck. Lots of walking, no turkey. Bought and hauled some furniture. Lots more walking, no turkey.

Spent a lot of time outdoors though, which is always good. Got to watch a grey fox hunting grasshoppers while waiting for a turkey to gobble.

Worked Saturday. In the afternoon I did some work in the garden pruning and weeding.

Sunday was family stuff.
