Looks like a clover. 2, 4-D should take care of it without harming the grass.

Spray a light shot of 24D one afternoon when it's kind of cool.

Yep. Wet years has been great for the broadleaves. After a week or so of no rain you can already see them struggling.

I believe that is wood sorrel/oxalis.

24d will get it but it will fool you, it will start dying then make a come back a few weeks later. I follow up spray for it.

I've been battling this shite all summer, had Baby Bear #2 last fall and didn't get around to putting out any preemergent. Nightmare this shite is.

Common lespedeza. Any broadleaves killer will get it (WeedFreeZone, Trimec, etc). Use caution when using 2,4-D products on St Augustine and Centipede. They are sensitive to it, especially at temps over 90°.

I have this taking over my yard. I sprayed 2/4D three times, with increasing rates added to the mix. It worked on everything BUT this. It didn't touch this stuff.

I created a thread on this months back too. Been trying MSM Turf on it but it ain't doing shite. Stuff has spread everywhere. Dark patches all over the otherwise pretty good looking yard.

I find pulling lespedza sort of satisfying in a weird way.

If you find the main stem it pills up fairly easy.

I have it everywhere. Way too much to spray. I am giving up and hoping the winter kills it for a fresh start next year
