Bout a new side carport door from lowes couple months ago, I noticed after few weeks it was getting harder and harder to get key outa lock..well it finally just stuck and and I thought I was going to have to break the fricking thing off and take knob off.

Got it out, sprayed some wd40 in it on a whim and wahla, no more Fd up door lock.

now get some graphite spray and spray it in the lock. WD40 doesn't last long.
Not much lasts longer than graphite and it's the best for locks.

graphite spray

I've heard this a lot from different folks, but the last lock smith I had at my house (65 yr old dude) claimed that the graphite would eventually wear out the tumblers. I dunno if he was just full of it or he was telling the truth.

Graphite is frowned upon because of our high humidity.

It will gum up the lock

There ain't nuthin WD40 can't loosen or duck tape can't hold.

Best two inventions in the world.
