Wasp control question

So I bought a new boat and moved the old one to the other side of the boat shed and when I did, wasps started flying out of the trailer tongue. I was actually expecting it so I kicked the trailer before even hooking it up but that didn't work. They stayed in until I started moving it around with the truck. I'm not worried about them being in that boat because I don't use it. However, I'm pretty concerned about them building nests anywhere in my brand new boat. It was like they identified it as a brand new home too because I killed 2 with my hat that landed on the boat within 5 minutes of putting it in the shed. So my question is, is there a product or something I can put in the boat shed to keep wasps out of it? It's not enclosed on all sides so maybe it's a shot in the dark but I don't feel like going check the boat everyday with a can of wasp spray to make sure wasps haven't started building nests under the cat walks or something.

The granules? Or should I spray the liquid around the walls of the boat shed? You think that will keep them from coming in the shed?
