Is it a common carry weapon?

I loved that trigger. Goodness

I carry it in a N8 squared at 5 o'clock. Definitely not the most thin, but it can be done. I carried a shield for a little bit, and that was much easier to conceal.

I don't think my body type is good for CCW. Haven't found anything that didn't print at least a little, so TIFWIW

I'll have to try that N82 out. I have a White Hat (crossbreed style) right now, and I can only carry my Walther with it if I have pants w +2“ in the waistband.

It is made to be carried in any position. Carrying at 5 feels comfortable to me because it's not really in the way ever. Plus, you don't have to get bigger jeans

Best striker fired gun on the market, but I think it'd be tough to conceal.

Check out the CCP from walther. Only thing that sucks about it is the sights

Shield with Apex is tough to top though.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

It's a fine pistol, but best is mighty subjective.

It's a very good weapon. But my favorite concealed pistol is the m&p shield in 9mm. You can find them cheap now but I'd put 100$ in the trigger. If I'm in the states that handgun is always on me and you'd never be able to tell.

That's what I recommend to anyone carrying a concealed firearm.

Walther makes a ccw version of it.

I've never seen a compact PPQ. Are you speaking of the CCP that Carson mentioned?

They also make the P99 in a compact that is an inch shorter in height and length.

Easy Voldemort.

Yes, I have.

It has the best trigger out of the four in that price point.

It is also the most likely to have a FTF of those four.

If my only concern was the trigger, my CCW would be a 1911.

As it is, I flip between a M&P, Glock, and a crappy little XD sub compact I've had forever.

I'm not saying it is unreliable.sz Just that instead of working 99.999% of the time it works 99.98% of the time.

If you wanna troll, come over to the OT, I was just trying to even the playing field.

Edited at 9:44 am, for the troll.

Not trolling, but you know how hearsay goes. This guy said one thing that he saw, and then the other guy repeats it to 7 other people, who repeat a whole different story.

I have probably 3-4000 rounds through mine and the ONLY problem I have ever had was when I changed my grip, my finger was on the slide stop. I have shot probably 20 different types of ammo out of it. Maybe I got a freak one that was perfect, but I have a buddy with one and he hasn't ever had a problem either.

For CCW preference, I would still go with a Shield, but to say that the PPQ is unreliable is wrong

Yep, several thousand here also. Not the first hiccup, and I've shot steel and everything else out of it.

I can attest to the Walther PPQ being awesome. I reviewed Hammer's on my YouTube channel and the trigger is awesome. My only complaint are the sights - they are plastic and the dots are not recessed so they risk being scratched off. Besides that, it is super comfortable and has a great grip. It is a mid sized pistol in that the grip is about the same size as a Glock 19 or HK VP9 and it only holds 15 rounds. This does make the grip a bit shorter though, plus the barrel is 4" as opposed to 4.25" or 4.5". It's still a double stack pistol though so you'll have that slide and grip thickness no matter what.

If you want a concealable Walther I would suggest the PPS over the CCP. The CCP is a brand new handgun and may have to go through some teething issues before it's had the bugs worked out. The PPS is more established and tested and it's also a thin single stack handgun.
