Virginia to end CC reciprocity on February 1, 2016

This is a load of crap from NE Virginia, but the rest of us have to live with it. I wish we could secede from NE Virginia. They have the population, thus the votes. Try as hard as we can, the rest of the state just doesn't have enough votes to get these folks out of office. Sad day for us in Virginia. LINK

Wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit if a Virginia boycott was called. Libs boycotted SC because of a flag. Not a lawyer, but it seems to me there oughta be a legal fight over this decision by the Attorney General. FWIW, I sure didn't vote for him and most of the rest of Virginia didn't, either. Richmond and NE Virginia libs elected him.

Article is also a little confusing to me. In one place it talks about Virginia residents obtaining a CC from another state where the CC requirements aren't as strict. I didn't even know I could go to another state and obtain a non-resident CC permit. And then it states that Virginia will no longer honor resident CC permits from RESIDENTS of other states.

That is definitely true for the part that is east of I-95. The rest of us still have some common sense, though. Unfortunately, we are outnumbered even though we live in a much larger geographical portion of the state. I'm ashamed of The Commonwealth.

I know, I deal with this place daily living here and traveling all over it for work. What kills me is they think they are the south because of 2 things...they below the Mason-Dixon line and Richmond WAS the confederate capital 150 years ago. In my opinion the new Mason-Dixon line is I-40 and Richmond is nothing more than a suburb of Washington DC! Did I mention how BAD the food is here?

IMO, the only good thing about Virginia is that we don't have common core, YET. Herring is a left-winged liberal fruitcake who does not follow the VA state constitution and does everything based on the Democrat party line. Sound familiar? The ONLY thing holding Virginia up as a decent state still is the VA senate and state reps who are majority Republicans.

It's those damn Yankees that have moved in and federal employees. Y'all should drive their arse back to the Potomac just like Stonewall Jackson did. Many parts of Maryland were once Southern. That place has gone off the deep end liberal.
