I'm looking for a used camper for my deer lease and my dad mentioned an ad he sees occasionally in the paper for a place in Lafayette that sells alot of used campers but he can't remember the name. Anyone know of any places I can pick up a good used camper, even a fema camper in south lousiana?

Do some research. Don't buy anything with delamination. Get on the roof and look for signs of water damage. Step on every inch of the floor to feel for soft spots. Push on the walls to feel for rot. Uve gutted a trailer before and it's not hard but make sure if you buy one with water damage, it's not a surprise and it's dirt cheap.

There is a place in Scott just north of the interstate that sells old FEMA trailers.

Not sure how they faired with the storm but this place always has used units on consignment and the get good reviews.

If you are interested I have a 29' camper I would be willing to part with. It's no beauty but has served me well as a camp over the past few hunting seasons.

There's used campers for sale all over the place around the areas the flooded a year ago. Many people bought them to live in while they repaired their houses and are now trying to sell them.
