two one legged gadwalls killed this week

they just had stumps where the foot was cut off.

they were healled over so it wasn't somebody in the blind cutting it off for a band. one was Saturday and the other on Sunday.

I killed a mallard with a stump about 15 years ago. I had it mounted, but my brothers lab took care of it one evening when we went out drinking.

Wounded from a shot if I had to guess. I've seen often when I shoot just behind a bird that the leg will drop.

Damn I killed a 1 legged gadwall Sunday morning. Left leg was a stump healed over also. Got it in South Bossier Parish on a little creek near the river.
