Make one with coat hangars. It works great.

I have had to use coat hangars to replace a lost stereo antenna for AM/FM stations

Take a look at the Mohu Sky 60. Mohu's website is www.gomohu.com/. The Mohu website also has a station finder page where you can put in your address and find the transmission towers for your local stations.

Thanks, Alleman. We checked the reviews and they look encouraging. Will check tomorrow.

No such thing as a digital antenna.

I have a $5 set of rabbit ears that work better than a $75 supposed digital antenna

Get the old time aluminum antenna. I catch stations from all over the state with mine.

Order some rabbit ears for $10 from Amazon and check online for where the stations are broadcasting from. Put it on the side of the house with the most, or in your attic. You don't need a $100 antenna unless you're getting a directional one

I looked up plans on the interweb and built my own out of scrap shite I had laying around and a $3 connector. Works great, although I do live in the city near the TV towers.

Correct,...Same for 150 mile antennas. Hell we cut direct tv and I get up to 23 channels a night on an old 80's outdoor antenna way out in the middle of no-wheres-ville, south toledo bend.

Where do you have your antenna? I'm about 10 miles outside of Baton Rouge and have mine placed behind my TV but only get about 6 channels. I'm thinking I'll need to place it in the attic.

Sounds like you have an indoor antenna. Move it as high as you can get it. My outdoor antennas I should say (I have two on a splitter) are both around 50ft high. All the channels don't come in all the time but at night time we usually get about 14 or so clear as a bell.

Had the same issue with my clearstream I putin the attic at my house. I hooked up this amplifier amplifierto boost the signal and it fixed my problem and picked up many more channels. The closest towers are 67 miles away from my house. Hope it helps.
