It also affects bees.

I use salt and oil.

One thing you need to learn is that studies never "prove" anything. "Suggest" is usually too strong to be used as well. No study is completely credible until the results have been duplicated using the exact methodology, the study you are citing has a LOT of problems.

There is quite a lot better than Roundup for food.

If you get into hydroponics, etc. you don't have weeds.

If you are really good at it you will never have bugs. If you have something like a greenhouse you can schedule in a cycle where you can freeze the greenhouse or heat the greenhouse killing all the bugs. Or just cycle where the plants aren't in that greenhouse and bug bomb it if you need to and let it air for a few days. Easy peasy.

When gigantic money is involved, as in this case, studies will always be questionable.

Fact of the matter is that anyone with brain should know poison will have negative effects on your health. The studies are just to find out what negative effects.

There are better ways, but for large scale industrial farms, RoundUp works best and way more cost effective

The future of farming is multilevel hydroponic facilities producing perfect crops 24/7 365.

Plus we won't have to rely so much on the often vitamin lacking foods like grains.

So your telling me they're going to replace millions of high production farm acres of soybean, corn, cotton and vegetables with greenhouses. No Way!!! That's not the future.

This is absolutely a moronic statement

Don't you realize that plants are living as well and if you do this you will likely kill the plants as well?

I thought it was obvious the cycle was to make sure there were either no plants or the correct plants for the situation.

What? You had me interested at first but this is a ridiculous statement. Toxicity is a very complex thing, and to just say "poison bad, you no have brain" makes you sound like a quack. Theobromine from chocolate at worst will give me a stomach ache, while it will kill my dog.

I didn't say poison bad, you have no brain. But it is insanity to think that poison has no negative effects. Tell you what, I'll pour you a glass of roundup any day and let you drink it while you are telling me the health benefits of roundup.

Theobromine isn't poison either so good non example.

Yes. Yes, it is.

Your mistake is thinking of a greenhouse on a small scale. There is ZERO reason you can't build a 500-1000k square foot green house. Which can then out produce 10x as much as the equivelant farm land at a lower operational cost.

For now, the initial investment is higher. But production numbers don't lie.

Based on what definition? Is salt a poison? Is water? Theobromine is most certainly toxic to humans at a high enough dosage, we just metabolize it quickly enough to negate the effects of small doses. Dogs lack the enzymes to do so. Warfarin has been used as rat poison since the 50's, yet given in small doses it will prevent blood clots in humans.

I can tell by your posts you either have a limited understanding of chemistry or are really drinking the koolaid. I wouldn't drink a glass of roundup, nor would I eat a lb of salt. It doesn't change the fact that toxicity is highly dependent on dosage, solubility, mode of transport, and sensitivity. To simply say that something is a poison and anyone with a brain can see it will adversely effect their health is ridiculous generalization.
