After checking the bottom,, may take a bucket boom?
Boss, it might survive a couple years, but, that close to the house, I'd hate to see a big wind send it that way.

How much did lightening that tree cost? I've got a couple heavy trees that need a diet.

If its that close to the house, I wouldnt chance it making a recovery. Just take it out and plant a citrus tree of some sort and get some fruit out of it.
