Is there any law against me using a boddy gripper (conibear trap) around my own house in Louisiana? I have the damn dillo invasion in my garden/under my house. I've tried live, box type traps and I can't seem to win.

I have no kids, neighbors with pets, around...so I think it will be safe.

Best thing is just to go out at night after a rain with a baseball bat. They never attact the same place. But yes, you can!

You only need the license to sell what you kill. You can eliminate nusaince animals without a problem.

I can tell you that conibear isn't gonna kill an armadillo. It'll just hold it, maybe, until you bash its head in.

The #220 probably wont (which is what I have access too), but I've seen #330's do it.

Also, don't they make a 12"er?

A 330 that catches it around the head, yea it'll kill it, but if it catches the shell I guarantee you it'll still be kicking when you get there. A 330 magnum might compress the body enough to kill it but it could go either way.

You might want to check the regs in louisiana but here a bodygrip has to be 5 inches or less in spread and if I am not mistaken a 220 is 7 inches.
