I have no doubt about your photo. I observed one crossing the road on Fort Polk in 2014 while serving as an OC during a training rotation. I have no pics but it happened. I reported it to range control and they stated its been a common sighting in recent years.

Cousin and I saw one several yrs ago in Evangeline parish. Who ever doesn't believe that they're here doesn't spend enough time in the woods. We had ran across its tracks long before we saw it that night. Had a guy in the area missing a few small goats and any man w/ a little knowledge would know that the tracks we saw wasn't a bobcats.
