Picked it up a few months ago but haven't taken it real far off shore until this past weekend. We went out about 40 miles to some rigs for AJ and hit some snapper on the way back in (state waters). Pretty good first trip out!

Also while we were out fishing a man and a woman launched a boat with there brand new Doge...with paper tags still. The lady left it in neutral and walked away....and well...we all know how that turned out

nice boat and haul.

How do people do this? If I'm not in the act of backing up, the truck is either in park with the brake on, or in drive and moving forward.

Am I doing it wrong? (I think not, since my shite is not underwater, but is it bad to put in park when loading a boat or some such bullshite I don't know about?)

Nice AJ on the right BTW.

Sadly I did not get to see it first hand....happened while we were out fishing. They said the front tires were making the front end float up Can you imagine the ride home in the tow truck with those 2!

Yea that one on the right a buddy caught...probably close to 5' long...didnt weigh it tho. Was a great day minus the seas...called for 1' and they were probably 3-4' going out. 15mph makes for some slow going...but on the way in was nice...about 30-35mph

Just how her these pics and then point to P on the shifter

No it was from someone named MN. 25k for boat and trailer with 500hrs on the motor...I felt a pretty decent deal.

From my experience, once someone owns one Boston Whaler, they won't ever own another brand of boat

By any chance did you run up on a sand bar in Cocodrie in late June? Boat looks very similar!

Nice snapper.

I'm pretty sure I'll only ever allow my wife to hold the rope. Sadly though out of all my friends I probably wouldn't let any of them back the boat off or put it on, or use the truck.
