and must have jumped up 15-20 deer from the time I got to the gate til I made it to the end of the property, a few sets of horns, nothing to write home about just yet though.. Got a camera out on one soybean patch, will try to post any pics I get tomorrow... It's bittersweet though because the way my luck runs I won't see not the first hide or tail when it time to get things kicked off

Hopefully this year is better than last. I was shutout last year only saw one doe all season. If you got beans that should keep them close.

Same here, only hunted til Christmas, saw a spike and a doe and fawn. Looking for redemption this season.

I'm defiantly starting the season with extreme aggression.

I usually hunt down here during the week in the evenings and some mornings so I don't have to drive all the way to the camp, I think this drought actually benefited us this year as far as the deer hunting goes because on the backside of property is a little lake withs several little breaks off of it that never really dried up so I'm assuming that this summer when everything got dry we got more deer than usual pushed over on us looking for water and when all the beans and cotton planted on the place they just decided to stick around

Not much point in leaving with free beans to eat.

Happens to be me every damn year, I'll see a fair amount early in the season, just enough to make myself say wait it out ol swamp daddy is bound to come out sooner or later and next thing I know its January and I haven't seen shite .. but that's what keeps me going out there I guess, well that and whiskey, fine food, good stories, and great times
