Up here in N. Alabama we had a mild winter (as most did)...and as a result the ticks this spring are HORRIBLE. The dogs are protected by their meds so the ticks aren't on them...but they do find their way into the house and one me and the wife. Anyone know of a good spray or dust that's good for the yard? Hell I can cut grass and spray at the same time if needed.

I would think Talstar would take care of them. Treat the yard around your house.

This stuff is the best without question. It says its for fire ants and it works wonders on them but with will also kill ticks

LINK

Also look at ortho home defense. I'm pretty sure it will kill them as well

If you live in a rural or semi-rural area, I recommend getting some bantam chickens and letting them run free. Just feed them in the yard so they know where "home" is located and the bantams will clear out the ticks for you. I've done this and I know it works.

Just treated my yard 3 weeks ago with bi-fen
Granules and the liquid for the hard to get to spots. Bi-fen is the same active ingredient in Talstar.
Have not seen a tick since.

You and your wife can take vit b 12 as well. Ticks will not like you if u take it daily.

Wow. Good information on the B12..didn't know that. Wife just had blood work done..and her B12 was actually low.

Talstar...got it.
Ortho Home defense...got some already..didn't know it was that good on that stuff.

Thanks guys.
