looking to spend $1000-1200. Don't want to limit myself to the maxus and also want to come down off that $1500 price tag a bit. Please make recommendations for a semi auto camo'd 12 gauge. If someone posts something you don't feel is a good gun please tell me why. I have a hand me down 12 gauge whose reliability has gone to shite. It also has some issues with rust which is the reason I want something coated. Thanks guys.

My buddies got me one as a wedding gift. Absolutely love it.

You might be able to get it cheaper on gunbroker.com

Wow my buddies got me a Buba blade and yeti cup and I thought that was good

Which version?
I have the sporting version and paid $150 less than that.
It's a nice gun. Fairly soft recoil, but a mess to clean. If the gun fits, it's a nice gun and you will probably enjoy it.

You should be able to get that gun for ~$1250-1300 from Buds or Reeds. No tax either.

Winchester SX3 is the same gun. Save yourself about $500.

OP if you're looking at the Maxus, spend the $100 extra and get an A5.

Umm, not true. Internet purchases are to be reported on your state income tax return and the sales tax is added to your tax filing.
Of course, you can also claim the casualty loss when you have that boating accident and lose your guns.

My son loves his. It is a PITA to break down to clean.

I was between the maxis and sbeii as both felt great to me. Went with sbeii because much easier to breakdown and clean, gas vs inertia, etc.

I can't believe I agreed to help pay for that piece of shite.

I've had mine for about 5 years. Absolutely love it! No issues at all.
Most of my buddies shoot a Benelli and my Browning kicks much less than theirs w 3.5's shooting at geese.

Oh well, yeah, I mean, of course, I pay those taxes.
