Really good looking pup and seems like a very friendly dog when I met her. About 6 weeks old.

My question is...with people that work full-time and have season football tickets...how would you manage your time to train and take care of this dog for the next few months?

Is it possible? Do you need to depend on assistance from family/neighbor? Any thoughts/advice is appreciated.

I would think that with those two breeds in it, if it doesn't get enough exercise it will be extremely destructive.

I had a mixed aussie who I couldn't give enough attention to. In the words of Phil Anselmi he got, "frickING HOSTILE!"

If you need to ask these kinds of questions then do the dog a favor and don't take it home.

Edit: what do plan on training it for? just ob?

Yeah well we are just thinking about it. Tough decision. It is a pup from humane, friend was fostering it. But there has to be plenty of families that have similar dogs that make it work with a similar schedule. Simply asking for advice on it and trying to do as much research as possible.

Yes just ob.

Will it be an inside dog?

Do you have around 15-20 minutes a day for obedience training during week?

Do you have a yard for the dog to run around and burn off energy?
These dogs need to be kept away from cops cause they are hyper and can trigger some popos. Can you provide it safety from the boys in blue?
Can you ride a horse and let the dog pen up cattle for you? Have you ever cut a bull's balls off and eaten them?

These questions need to be answered before I give my full opinion.

The rest of the questions I'll leave up to you to decide

I have a three year old Australian Shepherd/Lab mix, and he was very easy to train...took a few months but he doesn't mess in the house and doesn't chew up anything but his toy rope.

You should be good man. Just know that they need lots of exercise and if you ever need a dog sitter, hit up old cootkilla, I'm available most weekends.
