Thinking about Sightmark RDS for 300blk? Thoughts or personal stories?

So I've decided to go the rds route after deciding a tube obtic is not what I am looking for. I just checked out the Vortex Spitfire and while it is a great optic, it's not for my current needs. I'm looking for speed and a box window for protection. EOTech is out of the question. Right now my 300blk is a pistol build so a tube optic with a measured eye relief isn't going to work. Need infinite eye relief. May reconsider after it's converted to SBR.
I've decided that sightmark fits my needs the most and I have a Gander Mountain about 19 miles away that I can see them in person. Besides that though, they have a fairly limited warranty compared to other companies so buying new may be the better option rather than ebay.
Anyone have any personal stories or reviews. I was specifically looking at the Quick disconnect, red dot, box window "Ultra" series. Thanks again.

Try primary arms. I have the classic rds and it's sturdy. Just as cheap as the sight marks and more to choose from. Plus a lot of great reviews

Thanks. Not really seeing any beefy window ones though from their namebrand. I feel like the thin window or low profile are more for low recoil rifles and pistols, respectively. That's why I was looking at a sturdy box style. I am by no means comparing a sightmark to an EOTech, but EOTech is a good example of what I mean by a sturdy box. Of course EO is laser and I'm probably good with just LED style.

Ahh. Gotcha. I didn't see you were set on that style.

Saw Gander has a Burris on sale. Might check it out - about same price as Sightmark
