Are you going to home-school the kids and brainwash them into staying around to work/help out until they're too fricked up to leave?

Snap. Hadn't considered that.

We went to Hawaii a couple years back and I was amazed at how many homes there had solar panels.

Having solar panels doesn't mean your house is running on all solar. And this technology you are talking about is ridiculously expensive.

How old are you? How is health? What happens as you age? Chances are the health care you would get out there would not be good. ..
