I have had a deer head sitting in an ant pile for about three weeks. So I was in back yard yesterday and moved the head, well, no more ants in the pile. I picked it up to move it to a new mound and liquefied brain matter oozed out. Pretty bad. What made it worse was that up until that day, my dog hadn't messed with it. Well, I let him out that evening, and he hung out back a little longer then usual. I called him in, then he jumped up in my lap and licked my face, hit me like a freight train. He had gotten into that old pile had been rolling around in it. Then I broke out the gasoline.

For hunting related smells, either decaying animals like you said or a gut shot deer. In real life, the worst I've smelled is probably an exhumation or a scene where a body has been there a while.

Easily... A buddy left four coons in an ice chest for four months.

Told every person who showed up one night there was beer in the ice chest.

He taped up the yet I and put it at the road.

Someone got a free ice chest.

But at what cost.

What cost...

I would say a gut shot deer is worse than a decaying animal. One had 4 grown men gagging at the cleaning pole.

Now,one time my wife left a gallon of milk in my truck for about 10 days in the 100deg hear. Oh. My. God.

Probably the last time I visited a duck cleaning business. That place was full of fowl though it didn't smell all that bad.

I can still remember the smell of a container of old shrimp I opened about 15 years ago. It had had been roasting in the South MS summer sun for who knows how long.

Only thing worse is probably a couple of the freezers we accidentally opened after Katrina.

ETA: honorable mention for MFing kimchi. shite makes me gag uncontrollably.

Got damn I say every summer I'm going to pick up every grain of rice so it doesn't rot around the bins.

But then it's 130 degrees and I say screw that too. So it sits.

Body in a bathtub for about two weeks in July no power in the house . You know it's going to be bad when the Buzzards are on the roof .
