Hey everyone, I have been completly out of touch with reality for the last week, Just thought I would chime in and ask...Is everyone still down on guns? or do I need to crawl back in my hole for a while longer? I went to the store to just pick up some ammo for the range yesterday and, good lord, they were damn near sold out. I got back ups but I may have to fire up the ole reloading station to put out some of my own. I figured on a knee jerk reaction from some people but is everyone buying all of it up or just a few people who got money to burn? I dont keep a huge stock pile of ammo but if it is going to be this hard to find I might just have to start building my stockpile higher.

Due to your report of ammo shortages 3 people just took money from savings to go get what's left. Thanks for adding to the hysteria

Wish I had some to sell, The wife made a joke the other day when I mentioned getting my reloading equipment out to load some for my brother in law, that I was going to end up being like a crack dealer but I would be selling ammo.

Sorry. My account was Hijacked a couple of times over the weekend too. I went in to buy a box of 50 .45's and ended up with 2 100rnd boxes because that is all they had left with the exception of the rnds that are like $30 for a box of 20

10-4 I am thinking about stepping up a notch and going to a turret style press, The single stage I got is good because I am very picky about the powder charge so I have to do it one step at a time. Just takes a long time for the whole process when doing it that way. It has been so long since I loaded any I might have to relearn the whole process over again.

I was at a local store having a cup of coffee and shooting the bull yesterday morning (good friends with the owner) and watched person after person come in buying ammo. The bad part is it is a feed and seed store but people were coming there cause most of the big outfitters were sold out. I asked the owner if there was a shortage and he said no he could get as much as he needed but was scared to order a whole lot cause he didn't want to be stuck with it. I think things will die down in a little while but I did buy a couple boxes just in case
