The ONLY way I am going to consider keeping the teams the same & allow Team Fap & Glyde to remain intact is if speckled belly geese go back to 5 points each. I feel like my team would have had a fighting chance if that wouldn't have been changed. I just gave up towards the end & didn't post anything for like the last 10 days of the contest. I hunted everyday but it was so far out of reach I didn't bother posting the pics.

MrCoachKlein - 71
BourgsTheWord - 27
jsmoke222000 - 183
GREENHEAD22 - 81
tkr1407 - 69

Yalls team total was 431.

431 x 1.5= 646.5 (1.5 should cover 3 point versus 5 argument)

34venture - 213
Choirboy - 256
LSUballs - 9
bossflossjr - 272
MSWebfoot - 11

Total of 761

646 is still over 100 points less than 761. You didn't post towards the end of the year and LSUballs didn't post but 9. I hunted with him many days and he could have put our score in the range of 900.

Long story short you can make your specks 6 points and you wouldn't have made it.

It was fun but I can already tell I will most likely bow out gracefully and let yall have your fun next year.

That is why I say a bird is a bird =1 point and also start at teal season for the count.

frick that. I'd I killed as many specks as smoke if be happy as hell to have that great table fare. Would take that limit over a limit of ducks any day

PS Next year ill still lose so the points system don't matta

That is basically the argument here. To most a "bird" is not just a bird. These goose killing fellas regard geese as a greater prize than ducks. Us duck killers regard the wiley mallard as a greater prize than geese. Something tells me common ground will never be reached.

Three members of Team Spoonie were only hunting public all year. We said enough is enough and have combined for two leases in rice fields/crawfish ponds. Next year will be different and Team Spoonie will rise from the ashes. Geese will be plentiful. I promise.

We need a new competition, a field of battle where the two can meet and settle their differences...

Yeah, because it takes the same skill level to consistently kill mallards as opposed to woodducks, teal, and spoonies.

Make specs 3 points, a limit equals 6 points, the same as a limit of 1 point ducks.

A limit is a limit.

Where I hunt it is fairly simple to kill greanheads. They decoy the best out of any duck we kill. But there is just not that many of them. Pintails on the other hand are very difficult to work in. We haven't killed any wood ducks this year so I would say they are extremely hard to kill.

If you have a loaf of bread it is easy to kill the few at the zoo as well. I am talking about killing them day in and day out. If you are decoying mallards with less effort than teal I need you to show me a few pointers.
