Browning 6.5 CM

$449 with Browning rebate. I already have more rifles than I even use but I've been wanting a 6.5 CM and this seems like a great deal. Is there a better deal on a 6.5 CM out there? Talk me out of buying this so I don't have to hide another gun from my wife.

I've been put on a temporary gun ban in the house. Buy it to help ease my pain.

No.

You can't beat a Browning for out-of-the-box accuracy (in my experience).

Use promo code 17Spring to get an additional $20 off $150. I hope I did my part to talk you out of it

None of y'all are helping. Just went to order it and since I don't have a Cabela's close I will have to get my FFL to send them my info. That'll at least give me time to sleep on it. Was really wanting the Tikka CTR but this is half the price. Would leave more money for optics.

They are two different guns though. The Browning is a hunting gun while CTR is a tactical style rifle. I would toss the Browning and buy a T3X (one of the non-tactical guns) for slightly more than the Browning for an awesome hunting rifle. If you want the CTR, you should buy it. Don't compare CTR to a Browning hunting rifle though. Compare the hunting oriented Tikkas to the A Bolt. CTR is just different from those.

Yes I definitely understand they are completely different guns. I have a T3 .300wsm and love it. Does Tikka even make a Creed in a regular hunting rifle? I wasn't really looking but came across this deal. I wanted a 6.5 Creed and figured if I bought this I would just get a tactical/range gun in another caliber. I'm always looking to expand my gun collection with good deals. I know you can't really compare the CTR with the A Bolt. Should have clarified that earlier.

Forgot that part. In that case, screw Browning, buy the CTR.

I'll probably end up just holding off and getting the CTR. Wasn't even really looking at buying one at the moment. This just looked like a good deal so I wanted to get the OB's opinion. If it was considered a can't miss deal I would have probably ordered it since you can't have too many guns.

I'll hold off. I still have a .270 and .35 Whelen that I recently found good deals on that still need scopes. I just keep getting sidetracked by Facebook and this board posting good deals that I have to buy. If I could stay off this site I'd save so much money.

Thanks because if I would have said something I'd be the a$$.

Nah. Everybody has an opinion. I don't mind. Like I said-in my experience. My 2 Browning A-Bolts (A-Bolt I Stainless Stalker .280 and A-Bolt II Medallion 30-06) have been sub-moa with no accuracy mods.

I don't own a Tikka, but that's what everyone on this board wacks their wee-wee to. By all means, wack away.

Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creed. Slightly heavier barrel, already threaded in case you decide to suppress it or put a muzzle brake on it. They are known to be awesome guns. They too are on sale at cabela's right now. $399

same can be said for my xbolt. Best shooting rifle I've ever owned.

Me either, at least until next week. I guess we'll see what the hype is all about. I'm excited to finally get a Tikka
