Took my lil girl for the first time when she was about that age. W/Eric.......Roux though. I told him it'd be an easy day, didn't need to plan to stay out too long, etc. She trooped it out till about 9:30, then had had enough. We caught some trout, ran through the jetties, she watched and help her daddy catch a big bull red that we turned loose, and then headed back to the camp. We road back sitting next to each other on the bait box in front of the CC, and she fell asleep on my shoulder.

Memories like that, and her walking into the gas station w/me, hand in hand, at 4:30 am , as a 6 year old, to get those pre duck hunt donuts, with her lil camo jacket w/her name embroidered in pink on it......I'll never forget them. The smiles and comments - and the expressions on the faces of the other hunters - especially the older ones - were priceless. As an older man, I now know why.

Do it as often as you can. Before you know it, you'll look up, and you're talking about sororities and law school and "this guy I've been talking to". All of which is good. We started out from Rigolets at 5:00 am. 4 in Dumas boat, 4 in Walkers. Headed out searching for trout and got on a very good bite.Caught 3 reds in the mix as well and i pulled the Gopro out and attempted an underwater shoot. Water was very muddy and i couldn't see the angle the camera was shooting.
Turns out it was pointing up and all i got was the fish being netted.

I knew we were going to go target reds a little later so i put it up while i continued to help my daughter catch specs.Well,the redfish hole never happened because we all got trapped under the L&N train bridge for almost an hour along with Dudleys boat and 10 other boats.

Everyone was soaked,cold,and there were more storms developing over Lake Pontchartrain.

We all headed in at 11:00.

I need to figure out some way to make sure my camera is facing the direction i want it to face.Thinking drawing a black line on the pole and making sure it is pointed in the up direction is all i need to do.

I just put mine on my baseball cap with the clip. Never fell off once. It was always facing the direction I was looking at.

I let my brother wear it for a couple of hours to make sure I was in some of the videos.

Get the WiFi back pack for it if you don't have the Hero 3, install the GoPro app on your phone. This will allow you to see what the camera sees and you can adjust it based on what you see on your phone.
