Surefire flash lights stand behind their product

4-5 years ago I bought an E2L Outdoorsman light and it has been all it should be until this season. The tail cap switch started acting up and finally completely failed. I went online to get an idea what a new tail cap would cost. Without ever registering my light or proof of purchase they sent me the part I needed free of charge. The little light is back functioning perfectly and it didn't cost me a dime.

Kudos to Surefire!! They will get my business the next time I am in need of a light.

Every surefire I've seen takes batteries that cost about $15

Eotech did something similar for me. Ive had the sight since 2000 give or take and it started going out on me and finally quit working. They sent me parts to fix it no questions asked

How much is a Surefire light?

Are these the same ones you ordered off of Amazon a few months back?

No. Those were streamlights.

Never used a Surefire although I hear good things.

I love me some streamlight though. I have a TLR-1s on my HD handgun.

OIC. You sent me to Amazon to buy some flashlights like CB after you raved on them, and I did. I ended up buying 10 lights (no clue what they are) for $10 each or something around the middle of October. They were back ordered in Taiwan, and showed up last week. I had forgotten I ordered them.

Now I have 10 flashlights hidden in every spare crevice of my new truck and toolbox.

I have a couple sure fires and CB turned me onto a good little streamlight he found on Amazon this year. I've been pleased with all of the above.

Flashlights are like guns, can't have too many.

I'd like to have a badass flashlight for the truck that's rechargeable.
Suggestions on namebrand?

I got my Surefire E2D about a year and half ago for $175(I think). Have used it daily since then and am on my 4th set of batteries.

I've had a Streamlight Stinger rechargeable in my truck for about 4 years. It's pretty bright for a little while.

Not quite that high.

You can buy the CR123 batteries on Amazon for ~$2 each - which is still higher than AA's. But the CR123's have a shelf life of ~ 10 years. In some houses that saves racing to Home Depot every time a hurricane warning is issued.

Surefire = really great lights. But I haven't ever liked the switches on their weapon lights.

Streamlight TLR1 = best I've found for a handgun.

I like all of 'em. Surefire, Streamlight and that funny-named one someone talked about on here, Kuros or something.

King, I love Pelican cases, but I had poor luck w/ their flashlights.

I love Surefire flashlights. I just ordered another one this week (Fury). I think their weapon lights hold up better than the others...but they are $$$.
