A friend of mine is on vacation and found out that while he was gone, two of his boats were stolen from his dock. I offered to get the word out. Hobie pro Angler 14 Dune and Slayer Propel 10 in blue. It's thought whoever did this will try to sell. I'll be checking Craigslist daily. If other sites would be good to post(salty/bckfc) let me know.

Also check LouisianaSportsman.com and BayouBucks.com classifieds. I would post this same message on bckfc or get someone to do it for you. Those are two expensive and easily recognizable kayaks. Only serious yak fishermen will be buying them in all likelihood.

Idiot steals them from Kincaid then uses the propel at Cotile today. Someone saw a truck with two yaks in it. Sends a pic to my friend. Friend drives to cotile and waits for hours while the guys are out on the lake. One of them was in the propel. He's going to jail. The Hobie is at the guy's house.I'll know more tomorrow.

man, nothing makes me happier than hearing this kind of thing...well, actually hearing news that someone put a baseball bat to the thief's skull would make me even happier, but that is not likely...

The one good thing about a thief is they do stupid things.

Honestly, I would have been a bit nervous.

Yes, I'll post pics if/when I get that information.

A downvote on a post reporting the recovery of stolen kayaks
