Dude got his kayak jacked
Article made me laugh. Dude went to deer island in kayak, rode home in police boat.

The IOU in the sand is quite funny.

Something tells me ole boy didn't pull his kayak up far enough and it floated off. This was a far less embarrassing story to tell when he had to call the cops for a ride

Tide got it for sure, He made up the writing in the sand to make it seem like he has actual contact with wild girls. Dude needed a lift after his yak floated off.

He was probably afraid of what the fellow members of the kayak club would say if they found out he let the tide take it away.

I've grown up around Deer Island and would never leave anything close to shore unattended due to the high population of pirates in the area. Hell, we even disconnect the 25 and hide it in the bushes if we go exploring on the island.

OT thread said mystery solved. Mother of one of the kids that took it responded to the article.

I read the article and now I'm curious. How far of a swim is that?

300-500 yards, depending on where you step off the mainland.
