Never owned or used any of their products and need some new binos. Good stuff? Thinking about getting these:

They aren't bad optics. You aren't getting Swarovski/Zeiss/Leica type performance but they are very durable. I carried a pair of their Military Marine 8x30 for many years.

I do like their tactical scopes. Also, I believe they are owned by Beretta.

Yeah well that's not a deal breaker

Just looking for something light and reliable.

They are pretty light and built to take some abuse to be sure.

I've got a pair of Steiner Night Hunters. Very clear, great light gathering, but heavy. I wouldn't want to be stalking or doing much hiking with them. They're great in a box blind. I can see earlier with these than through my Zeiss scope

Good glass, upper end of the entry level binos, but before you buy them make sure you look through them, and at the same time compare them to a pair of Vortex

Seems to be the "Tikka" of optics on here. I've never used their stuff either so I guess I just don't "get it" yet.

Both brands are exceptional quality for a much better price than their equivalents , FWIW I have a Vortex on my Tikka,

I am not saying that the Vortex is a better set of Binos than the stiener, I have not looked through either , but I am suggesting that you look through both pair before deciding which ones to buy, I was absolutely amazed at the quality and clarity of my vortex scope, it was heads and shoulders above my Leoupold VXIII, and on the same playing field as my Swarvoski at a much better price and way more functions

I just bought a pair of leopold yosimites 8X30. I picked up all the binos on display at academy and these were by far the clearest and brightest in the price range.
