Anyone recommend a nice pair of boots that won't break the bank. I need them for work.

Never heard of Georgia. Who sells them?

Justins with the gel sole that are made in America. Won't find any more comfortable boots, trust me
IIRC, they are about $150

Justins and redwings have been my favorite.
I like a logger heel and steel shank, but get whatever is comfortable.

I have wide feet. I recommend Redwing steel toes every day of the week.

whats cool about redwings, for those of us with wierd feet, is they measure each of your feet individually. ive got size 12.5 A width and B width, seprate feet. never knew that till they measured me

Don't know about here, but I bought mine at tractor supply.

Wolverines are made in Mexico and their quality has gone to shite in recent years. Redwing are great but are heavy and take a while to break in. Ariat are by far the most comfortable boot I have worn in years. Im on my feet on grating and limestone for 12 -16 hrs a day sometimes and by the end of the day my feet are not killing me. The prices are comparable to redwing and wolverine.

Redback boots ! Well worth the money

Ariat composite toe. A little pricey but you shouldn't be cheap when it comes to something you wear more than anything else. I'm always on my feet at work and cheap boots just aren't the way to go.

Make sure you get the right width or they can hurt your feet. They are the best I have worn and I have been wearing them for over 20yrs. I have tried several kinds but always go back to Redwings.

Best and lightest I ever wore.

Redwing worked for 30+ years for me
I even wear them around the house

Timberlands are the most comfortable pair I've had. They're good looking and built to last too. Current pair is about 4 years old

I was hard as hell on boots when I was working construction. I can honestly say that Justins, twisted x, and tony lama boots are ok when it comes to comfort, but they either blew out the side or the sole came detached in less than 6 months. Then I decided to give the Ariats a try. 2 pairs of boots in almost 2 years. That was a record for me. Plus they were quite comfortable. All I wore was slip on square toe boots btw.
My current job requires lace ups, which I thought I'd hate. But they actually fit a little better, are comfortable and have a little more support IMO. I have the Justin square toe lace ups. I think there's only one kind like them. The only problem I've had within the last 4 months is busting the laces, but just threw some parachute cord on them and problem solved.
Never tried Georgia boot, redwing or wolverine but I've worked along side guys that have. Never heard them complain.
