20.50#
6.75# (PB), 4.5#, 3.5#, 3.25#, 2.5#
midmorning Nov 4, 2016,
all caught in 2 hours on slow retrieve of glitter white chatterbait with matching Egret bait company 3.5" wedgetail mullet trailer, all fish released back in high fence north of Houston Texas,

side note: daughter (no pics) caught a 6.5# (PB) and a 4.5# the next morning on the same "Christmas angel" lure as she described it, that lure earned the right to be retired shortly after and is a special Christmas tree ornament with so many great memories and stories to tell...

Summer 1994
Dularge
Jumped a levee to fish for reds
Caught our limit
Jumped back over the levee to go back to the truck
Canal was choked with Lillys for about 50', then a pocket of water then about another 50' of lillys.
We paddle through the first set and end ended up in the pocket
Got tired so we took a break
I tied on a rattle trap and threw it will resting
Me and my buddy proceed to catch 20 1.5# bass in about 10 minutes.
Get to the truck with a limit of reds and a limit of bass and we were home for 9.

8.25 Lake Fork
7.5 Lake Fork
5.9 Toledo Bend
5.0 Toledo Bend
3.0 Farm Pond

One that got away: My pops drove over from Shreveport to fish with me on Lake Fork when I was still living over there. Threw a TX rigged worm next to a stump in Little Caney creek, thump-thump, set the hook. Sucker came straight toward the boat then went straight down, drag screamed for about 2 seconds then "pow". 20# test. I just dropped my rod and sat there with my head in my hands. Pops just said, "I sure would've liked to seen that one."

Individually would have been a guided trip to Fork where we sat over a deep hump with swim baits and caught fish over 5lbs for a couple of hours. There were some random 8s and 9s. It was sick.

As a two man team, SCwTiger and I caught 21.?? in a night tourney at Kincaid which was pretty good for that lake.

I'm sure you've all seen this, but it's incredible Butch Brown with a 65lb+ stringer of bass.

Best individual sack in a tournament was 25lbs. on Caddo in July of 2015. You can only weigh 4 overs by yourself, so I had to throw a 5 lber back that would have put me up around 30 lbs. I've had 30 -35lb. days on Fork and Falcon too.

A hair over 25 pounds, at Toledo Bend. Caught 9 bass that day, smallest was right at 3 pounds. I had a 6, two 5s, and two 4.5s. All caught on a 1/4 oz humdinger spinnerbait, reeling it super slow with a 5:1 gear ratio reel.

I was trout fishing in the Norfork River one weekend and some friends that were with me slipped off to the White River behind some new construction houses in a new neighborhood, where they started catching smallmouth on every single cast.

I broke away and went to meet them. I bet I I caught 20 smallmouth in an hour, each about 1-2 lbs. Biggest was edging 3 lbs. We threw them all back. One of my friends ran a hook into his bicep and we had to stop fishing to deal with it. Beyond that, my only regret was that it was on a spinning rod and not a fly rod.

20.91 - first and only time I have ever witnessed spinnerbaits (Alx) beat plastic (me) at night.
And I still throw plastic 99% of the time.

I caught several fish out from under a gum tree laying in the water on Lake Fork. The first one weighed 7-10 on my digital scale and the rest look like they came out of the same mold. Couldn't weigh the first one because they were all in the slot and it broke my heart.
