I'm headed out for my first time in Vermillion this weekend with the brother in law for specs and reds. I think we're putting in near Cypermort Park. Any idea what they're biting on now, and where?
Not looking for someone's spot. Mainly asking marshes or open water.

Check the wind, tides, and water clarity (via radar.
There under water reefs on the south end. When the water and tide is right, you basically troll near them and throw around them.
My friend goes several times a week. He knows as much or more thatn any guide. When he calls, I go, no questions asked!
I'll hit him up shortly and give you a report. One thing for sure, he usually goes early (leave Laffy at 4. Fishing at first light after a 15 min run

I know the redfish are biting around the north side of marsh island. People have been trolling and casting against the bank with market shrimp under a cork and catching them anywhere from the bank to 20 feet out.

Fish are being caught in tiger shoals.
