I another thread I started "Where Would You Like To Be?"(LINK ) ( it seems like the northwest is quite coveted. Lots of fly fishing happens in those areas so bringing up the fishing thought, what freshwater fish is the best eating?

In the northwest it's either Trout, Sturgeon, or Salmon, imo.

If you count salmon as a freshwater fish then that's the right answer, then trout

Sacalait or small wild channel cat, both fried of course.

Salmon, tilapia, white perch, bass

Correct answer followed by white perch and then whole fryer channel cats.

I was actually referring to fish you'd catch in the northwest.
