We shot 'em up this weekend! Close to Mexico...

BTW: The folks in Texas are enduring an incredible drought - pray for them.

Thanks for the thoughts, but did you just realize this or did it really sink in when you were here?

It sunk in when I saw Lake Texana...GONE!!!!!!! One of those things to see in person.

That's what it did for me the weekend of the Dallas game, I made a round trip to Dallas down to Austin then back to LA through Houston over the course of the weekend. The drive home was strange going from so much drought to flooded ditches when I got back to BR.

They sure could have used Tropical Storm Lee when it came through these parts. I drove to the Dallas game, then back to above Austin last week for a wedding in Florence. Terrible shape they are in for sure.

Where about? I was in Concan this weekend and we maybe saw 20 Doves. They weren't flying.

some buddies of mine went to bracketville and shot 450 in a weekend hunt, so they're flying well down there. it's just way too dry in the central part where i'm from for there to be any dove. no water for them to fly to
