For us this past year, yes. We killed more rattlesnakes (5) over Easter weekend than turkeys (2).

Agreed. That's not turkey hunting.
I've sat down on two occasions before daylight and noticed snakes (one copperhead one timber rattler) within arms reach when the sun came up. Shot a gobbler at 15 steps, with that timber rattler about 3ft in front of me. Shot right over him. Snake never moved. I left him right there. The copperhead was in a brush pile I sat up against. He came out and crawled past me about 30 min after daylight. I've always said I'd let one crawl over me rather than spooking a turkey. I hope I can be still if that ever happens.
