So I got Theis IWB holster

This thing is fricking huge. It's the most uncomfortable thing I've ever tried to strap on. Maybe I'm not an IWB guy

Wear it around the house and let it break in. What gun is it for?

S&W Sigma. I'm not a big guy either. Maybe that's part of the problem

I think hes referring to the Sigma and that its one of the worst handguns ever made...

I'm not familiar with Theis - the only 2 I would consider, without significantly more experience and recommendations, are Crossbreed Supertuck and Comp-tac Minotaur.

Maybe you got the wrong brand? Or for a gun that is too big for you to carry concealed comfortably?

Are there adjustments you can make to get it to work for you?

I had the trigger worked on. It's a decent handgun now. Is it great? Absolutely not.

It takes some getting used to. A good holster belt is also as important as the holster IMO.

It's a Crossbreed style holster. I'm one of the few that don't like these things.
If you're trying to carry a full size, you probably need to buy pants that are the next waist size up.
Still, get a better belt before you give up.
Pick up a 1.5" 5.11 trainer belt at BR Police Supply. The wider sizes won't fit through your belt loops on jeans.

I think I'm gonna send this thing back. It's just too massive for me. I'll get him to swap it for a holster for another shitty gun that I own. Maybe it will be smaller

Try one of the small Foxx holsters. Get a smaller thinner gun.

I went through 4 different pistols and at least 2 holsters each before I settled in on what I carry now.

Summer months: Ruger LC9 with FOXX
Winter months with coat or jacket: 1911

eta: Its not easy carrying all day, driving, and sweating. It takes getting used too.

Yeah it's probably because a sigma isn't really a CC gun. Wayy too big IMO

Lots of options other than the Sigma /shiver

Springfield XDs with Whitehat Max-Tuck combat cut.

LCP with Don Hume leather pocket holster.

Basically anything single stack makes a good CCW because it will be small enough to work with most clothes.

Also don't forget for IWB you need to get pants bigger than you normally wear.

Exactly what's uncomfortable about the "holster?" Is the gun/holster too thick? Is the gun barrel/holster too long? Is the gun/holster too heavy?

As mentioned by others, the problem here is prolly NOT the holster, but the gun. The Sigma has a double stack mag and a 4" long barrel. Consequently, it is NOT a small gun. My first concealed carry gun was a Springfield XD. It's dimensions are similar to your Sigma. I didn't cc it very long before I found out the gun was uncomfortable for me to cc IWB, even w/ a quality holster and belt. The gun was just to thick/wide. Have you tried just walking around the house w/ the gun in IWB without a holster? If it's still uncomfortable that tells you the problem is the gun, not the holster. If that's the case, you then have 2 options: cc the Sigma outside the waistband or cc a different (i.e. single stack) gun. If you choose the latter route, there are a LOT of single stack, compact 9mm's that were designed specifically for the cc market.

I chuckle at all the talk about fancy cc holsters.

I've been conceal carrying a Glock 27 for the last 10 years mostly using a cheap uncle mikes sidekick IWB holster. It's nothing more than a piece of cloth with a plastic clip to attach to your waistband.

Where it everyday and put on a regular leather belt to keep it snug to the body.

Same here. Single stack 9 and an Uncle Mike's is all you need. Easy on, easy off and only $15.
