I'm going to post this to the OT and the OB to get differing opinions if there are any.

Snake was killed today and measured 7 feet 4 inches. This is the only pic I have, sorry for quality. TIA.

On the OT this is a GDCK

On the OB it's a cottonmouth.

Boa Constrictor.
Where was it killed? I had one years ago that was caught in New Orleans East.

looks like an escaped boa. not sure tho. saw a 5 foot texas rat the other day that was similar but those markings look like a boa.

Either an escaped pet, or released when it got too big. Boas and especially pythons are a major problem in Florida where they are actively breeding. But I guess you can find them anywhere, cause there will always be morons releasing them into the wild.

Corn snake.

But, seriously, it had to have been released/escaped this year. A boa wouldn't make it through a Blount County winter.

Great snake hoisting right there.

Is that a squatch sitting by the gate in the background.

That would be a red tail boa. I used to have one as a pet.
