The blotches on the skin make me think rat snake. I don't really know. It's nothing venomous though.

It's hard to tell from the picture but it looks to me like recently shed skin from some type of snake.

The markings look very much like a rat snake. The round eyes are also typical of a non-venomous snake.

that's not actually a snake just the skin. you see, snakes shed their skin frequently and instead of flakes like a human, it comes off in one big piece.

I can tell it's not a rattlesnake from the tail in the skin and no other venomous snake endemic to the area has those type of round marking a on the skin. Also most of the venomous snakes around here are pit vipers (except the coral snake) and the head portion of the skin just doesn't look like a viper. I'm on my phone and can't post a pic otherwise I'd post a rat snake. If you google it you can see the similarities.

This. Non-venomous. Look at the pattern in the second picture; it's similar to a Gray/Texas/Western Rat snake

Exactly. Pupils do not show up on snake sheds
