Old Time Feed store in Gonzales and the baitshop on hwy 16 north of Port Vincent sell the traps made from Concrete wire and mesh. Cheese bait works.

I'm sure sportsman depot north of town on hwy 1 has them. Steven and them can certainly tell you what to bait them with as well.

Roy check with Sportsmans Depot on North Market. If they dont have anything on hand they should be able to point you in the right direction.

And if you don't like deer dog hunting, never mind those beagles in those kennels in the back by all the firewood, they'll be at the camp in a couple months.

If you have a decent mechanical aptitude they are easy and much cheaper to make.

When I worked in the bait business, we'd put outdated cheese in barrels for about a month during the summer and it became the most rancid/foul smelling shite you can imagine. We'd bag that up for the fishermen to put in there traps.

I'm sure Sportsman's Depot will have that smelly shite.
