Sky Game (1939) -- Youtube
quote:
"Sky Game" was shot on Avery Island, Louisiana, in 1939 by Pathé Frere newsreel company and Field & Stream magazine. Part of a series of sports-related films issued under the umbrella title "Sportscope," it was shown in movie theaters across the United States before a full-length main feature.
In the 1950s Field & Stream magazine subscribers could rent the film to view using a home movie projector.
The 16 mm print of this film was purchased on eBay in October 2012 and is now in the McIlhenny Company & Avery Island, Inc., Archives, Avery Island, La., which owns the copyright of the digital version.

That was some sweet footage. Notice how those lead shells crushed the birds?
