my ole reliable finally crapped out this weekend and i'm in the market for a new bag ice chest. I know YETI will be up there on the list for quality, but what other brands are worth it. Anyone have an RTIC or know how those hold up?

Polar Bear soft-side cooler. Much cheaper than Yeti.

I've had a polar bear and I currently have 2 RTIC's. I much rather the RTIC.

I have a Yeti hopper and I love it. My buddy has the Polar Bear backpack for several years and works - does not leak. The new KYSEK backpacks are cool too.

Visit Polarbear's website and when you checkout put in the code box "tigerdroppings" it will give you a 20% off coupon. If it doesn't work call their number and ask for Hayden. Tell him you heard about the 20% off Tigerdroppings code and ask for him if they will respect the code, as they will. Their customer support is great

The Kysek soft bag looks exactly like the Rctic. The same 20L is almost 3x the price? Anyoe have one that can tell me why?

I bought 3 yeti's a few years back and love all of them. That being said RTIC is the exact same thing. Had RTIC been out when I bought them, I definitely would have got RTIC.

FWIW I love my hopper, but that RTIC soft side is really frickin nice

I have a Polar Bear back pack and an AO Coolers shoulder pack. Both are nice and I like how they fold flat unlike the YETI and RTIC, but I'd probably get an RTIC 40 if I was to get another one.

I have a couple of these I use besides my hopper, the marine style ones I have really have held up well and do not sweat like others I've seen.
