4 guns and 12 rounds of ammo should fit in a 32 gun safe nicely.

I need to put 4 guns and $12 in it.

The ammo is staying in the country crock bowl where it's been all along.

Gonna bump this thread because my parents are looking to get a smaller (5-ish cubes) one for the house. I really don't know what the better brands are.

So far, looking at:

Browning HSD5
Rolland Eurovault 2417
Liberty Premium Home 5
Sentry Executive Digital

There is a Rolland dealer here in town that my parents know. Liberty can be seen at Mike Ward's in BR. Don't know where to look at the Browning and Sentry.

Out of those, the Sentry or Browning look to be the best. The Sentry can protect electronics also, but I don't know about the rest.

I have no idea of the quality of any of the brands, but this will be a one time purchase, so they are okay with spending the money for a good one. The stuff it will hold is irreplaceable, so burning up or getting pried open is not an option. If there is a fire, it would basically be falling 25ft to the ground.

Read the link I posted earlier about gun safe info and use that information to evaluate those models.

If I were shopping for a new safe I would purchase the Sturdy brand.

ETA: Just noticed you are interested in small safes.

I did. That website was basically a test between those two brands, none else. If I can't compare them to others on the market, that comparison doesn't do anything for me.

Also, the smallest stuff they made was 5ft tall. No guns will be in it

Nevermind, it appears that site is outdated. Sturdy has smaller ones now

Gonna go with the Eurovault or an Amsec BF. They seem to be the best on the market at dealing with both fire and thieves
