-They had assholes camp at the launch
- camping guys Lied about where they were going so we got fricked
-4 different a-hole groups setup 30 Yds away and sky blast at stupid far birds. I could hit 4 different groups with pellets
-they blow calls constantly and suck

To make it even I blow my calls like a kazoo every time birds come close and accidentally pepper them a time or two. Public land sucks.

Yes I'm mad!

Wow sounds like a fun hunt? Where is that place so I'll never go? The non stop calling would have drove me outta there.

If all I had to hunt was public land, I probably wouldn't hunt outside of bow season.

I hunt deer in sherburne since it's mostly bow hunting and there aren't too many idiots. I also mostly hunt during the week. I never hunt ducks there for that reason. It's terrible duck hunting there.

I strictly hunt public land for everything and I thoroughly appreciate the bountiful opportunities this state offers. I used to get really mad about stuff like you experienced this morning but have learned a few things:
1. Walk/ride/paddle farther away from the closest access point than you think necessary. If it's easy to access, it'll be overrun with stupidity almost every weekend. If you think you've gone far enough, keep going for another 30 minutes.

2. Hunt weekdays as much as possible.

3. Fully expect to have 1/3 of your hunts disrupted by dumbassery. Although sometimes other people's presence ends up helping you.

4. Try to not let that stuff bother you. Sometimes I just sit back, watch and laugh.

5. Realize that at the end of the day, they have just as much of a right to be there as you do. God loves stupid people too.

Friend of mine almost got shot bow hunting WMA. Squirrel hunter almost shot him in the back of the head while he up in a hang on. I used to hunt Loggy Bayou all the time and didn't see that many hunter because the Mosquitos where so fierce there they would try and stick you in the eye balls thought your face mask. Had to smoke cigars to keep them at bay even with strong deet.

Should have started by calling LDWF and turned them in for camping at the launch! Camping at Sherburne is only permitted in designated camp grounds ONLY!
