Shell Beach/ Hopedale update

As of right now the rain has stopped. Wind is kicking around 20knts with gust much higher. We were able to get out early this morning and pick up around 30 trout and 3 reds until the rains came in. It's not going to get any better. If you're heading this way, turn around.

I'll be stuffing my face at the rodeo and watching the kids play on the waterslide. Probably won't even get on the boat.

My dad said they picked up 43 trout this morning but the weather was terrible

Caught nice box of fish this AM for the Proctors rodeo, great time had by all. Not a drop of the 90% rain but wind forecast was 100% correct.....ripped all day. Fished marsh in usual fall areas and caught plenty reds and misc sheep, blk drum, etc.

My dad fished a small rodeo down there today. They won big spec, spec stringer, and 2nd in flounder. Said they caught a 3man limit

I met him at the weigh in, good people! It's never a good sign when you pull up at the dam and see 4 charter captains there because they don't want to run to the rocks. People caught fish this weekend, but the wind was unbearable for most.

Its funny how he always calls wanting to give me fish but when i get a chance to go we run all over just trying to scratch out a one man limit.
