Maybe for hunting, yeah. But if you are only getting lifetime fishing, which is $300, you aren't making your money back for 12 years. I would agree it might be worth it just to avoid the hassle though.

I am glad I was wrong, but it would still be nice if it worked out like an inspection sticker, and would be good for a year plus a few days, from any date bought

buying your newborn kid a lifetime hunting and fishing license is the best gift you can give them, although they won't appreciate it until they are about 20 years old.
