I'm thinking about putting out a camera some time next month to get pictures of the birds in the area.

What would be a good attractant to put out prior to the season just to get an inventory of the birds?

chicken scratch maybe?

whatever you do, don't pile it up. spread it out. If you pile it and it gets moldy it can kill turkeys

Broadcasting corn is a good way to do it. Known as Yella Yelper by my Mississippi peeps.
