Second Split Optimism Thread

Gentlemen.
The worst part is over. First split was a comedy show, but I am positive that the second split will be something to talk about.
If the rain would quit falling and the sun would back up a few feet, I think we will be in good shape.
Cant get much worse, its uphill from here

Only once in my life was there a hunt like the one in the pic above. But it was foggy as could be, so you could barely see birds. They were dive bombing our decoy spread. You couldnt see them coming and it was amazing.
And that day was in the second split, so with great optimism i hope it happens again

If we don't get some weather and a new push of ducks your second split is going to look just like your first one.

Same. Opening day 2013 with The Last Coco and another. It was unreal. 3 good mixed limits by 8 on public land in NWLA.

Yeah I'm feeling optimistic because it can't really get any worse. My goal for the second split is to limit at least 1 time.

Im all for being positive and holding out hope, after all, there are still a whole lot of birds north of us. Will all depend on weather over next few weeks; the rest of this week doesn't look like help and the following week only looks slightly more promising.

Split still open up here. This pic and that info will probably keep yall entertained till Christmas. And so the plot just thickened.

Not with this forecast. Our first freeze (morning low below 32 degrees) is typically December 3rd. According to this extended forecast we wont have one before Xmas. Very Depressing!
