Scope advice. Are these a good deal?

Burris Droptine 3-9x50mm Rifle Scope= $143

Vortex Crossfire II Deadhold BDC 3-9 x 50mm Scope= $135
I really don't need a new scope, but these are on sale and I need a Christmas present.

Where are you finding the Vortex? I'd get in on another of their scopes for that price.

Stopped by Academy this morning to check that Vortex out. Selling for $209 there. Reticle was crisp. Eye relief was better than i expected. I'm picking one up. Thanks for the tip.
